Confotur is the Dominican Tourism Incentive Law that grants tax exemptions to approved tourism development projects in certain areas of the Dominican Republic. It aims to stimulate tourism growth and achieve the country's tourism development goals. Obtaining "Confotur Approval" is a significant achievement for Real Estate Developers, though it involves a lengthy and expensive process.

Our project has received Confotur Approval, offering several benefits to buyers/owners:

1.     No Transfer Tax: Buyers are exempt from paying the 3% transfer tax on property purchases.

​

2.     No Property (I.P.I.) Tax: Owners are exempt from the 1% annual property tax for 15 years. 

​

3.     No Income Tax on Rental Income: Owners are exempt from the 27% annual tax on rental income for 15 years.
